UFIT is fundamentally distinct from the "AI Club Fitting" applications currently marketed within the golf industry. It was not developed using language model prompts or rules-based decision trees populated with generalizations such as "a golfer with a given swing speed should use a corresponding shaft profile." UFIT has not been programmed with industry conventions regarding driver-head forgiveness, shaft-induced spin reduction, or player classifications such as handicap tiers. The system has no understanding of equipment categories and cannot describe the visual differences between a blade and a game-improvement iron.
This is an intentional design decision.
UFIT's outputs are derived exclusively from real fitting data. The model was trained on more than 3,000,000 recorded swings and over 100,000,000 measured parameters, all collected during live fitting sessions. As a result, UFIT has a precise, evidence-based understanding of how two driver heads performed for the same golfer under matched impact conditions, how a player's swing changed in response to shaft adjustments, and how ball flight shifted as movable weight was repositioned within a driver head.
When a golfer submits their data, UFIT:
Observes and analyzes the user's data parameters.
Identifies how the current club configuration is influencing both swing behaviour and performance.
Determines the equipment adjustments that will produce optimal results.
Benchmarks the golfer against comparable swing profiles within the dataset.
Simulates the swing across hundreds of club configurations to identify the setup that will deliver the best performance right now.
UFIT is not a replacement for club fitting, nor an alternative to it. UFIT is the evolution of club fitting — built on real data, proven by real results.
